PEPPERED VINEGAR IN DECORATIVE BOTTLES

ok, I went to the dollar store and bought 12 tall decorative bottles with
wide mouths. They were a dollar a piece. Then I bought two gallons of
vinegar from Sam's. They were $2.38 a piece. Then I bought a 33 cent pack of
pepper seeds from Wal-Mart.  i grew the peppers over the summer. As they
came into being ripe, I would pick them, stuff them in a jar and fill with
vinegar. I would do this until the bottle was full, then I would seal it
with the cork that came with the bottle, and store it in a dark cool place.
I did this until I had 12 bottles done. This is what I gave familyand
friends for Christmas one year. so for $14.71 I had 12 wonderful home made
gifts. Also , as the vinegar was used all you have to do is add more white
distilled vinegar and the peppers would continue to heat and flavor the
vinegar. I had a jar last me 10 years before I had to throw the peppers out
and get more.
