From: Bel Clay pot Christmas Trees You will need the following items: three clay pots in graduating sizes clay saucer thick designer tacky glue gold or yellow paint green paint red paint glitter glaze mini micro beads or buttons small wooden star snow in a jar glue the pots together with the smallest of the graduating pots on top. Then glue the saucer, turned upside down, to the largest pot. Got me so far? This will be the base of the "christmas tree" The clay pots are turned upside down and stacked on top of each other with the smallest on top. Got the picture? Ok, now paint the saucer red, and the pots green. Paint the wooden star yellow or gold. Now put a coat of the glitter glaze over all of it. when dry, put the snow in a jar around the edges of the pots. Let dry, glue the star to the top of the "tree", now glue the mini beads or buttons all over, like "ornaments" on a tree. I know it sounds like alot of supplies, but the paint and the glitter glaze and the snow go a long way and will make quite a few "trees". the clay pots are really cheap, and the beads or buttons are really cheap to, and one bag does about 5 trees. I did this last year for gifts, and everyone just loved them. One great thing about this, is you can get whatever size pots and make whatever size tree. From a tiny one to a huge one that could sit outside your front door. If you make a big one for outside , make sure you put a sealer over it so the weather doesn't screw it up.
