From Miserly Mom's:
Furniture polish: one part lemon juice to two parts veg. or olive oil.

Brass Polish: Apply ketchup or Worcestershire sauce. Let stand a few minutes,
then rinse. If an area doesn't clean, there must be a build up of grease or dirt.
Clean residue off with a paste of salt and vinegar,then reapply sauce.

Silver Polish: Make a paste of 1/4c baking soda and 1-11/2T water. Apply
with a damp sponge. Rub, rinse and buff dry.
