What Is Success? by Yvonne Finn A while ago I saw a definition of success that seems true and even logical. It said that success was, the attainment of some worthy goal. However, success is actually the accomplishing of any goal that is desired, planned for and executed to whatever outcome is hoped for. We are the ones who give our goals value and worthiness. A bank robber can claim success when he successfully gets away with his takings? But is that a worthy goal? Neither you nor I think it is. So, what are our goals and why do you have them? Since this is a business forum, I will use the fact that we are all aiming to improve ourselves financially. But why? Is it just that we enjoy counting money or having big bank accounts? I don't think that is why most of us want more money. The reason I work to grow my business and be financial empowered is that I want to have more time freedom. I want to help family and friends get to do the things that will add joy and meaning to their lives. Such as good schools and travel etc. I want to donate money and time to my chosen charities. These are some of the accomplishments that will let me feel successful. Each of us will have his/her own way of knowing when they have become successful. However, one thing is sure. None of us will feel successful unless or until we first decide what we mean by success. Remember, personal success is not about anyone else's values and expectations. It is designed, orchestrated and evaluated by your own set of standards. Ultimately, success is knowing what you want and then execising the discipline and focus necessary to acheive it. ============================================================ Did you know that there is new online technology that is available that allows you and your customers/clients to see and talk with each other on a daily basis?
