  wheels? Wheels will allow you to move it from room 
  to room more easily. Basically, should it be stationary
  or portable?

** What to Look For When Purchasing a Bassinet or Cradle**

•  Be sure it has a wide base for stability and good 
   solid construction.

•  Slats or spindles should not be more than 2 3/8" apart.

•  If the bassinet or baby cradle has wheels, make sure 
   they have a locking mechanism. 

•  The mattress should fit snuggly in place. You should 
   only be able to fit 2 fingers between the mattress and 
   the frame.

•  Some baby bassinets or cradles come with a hood. 
   Most people soon find these get in the way, so be sure
   the hood will fold back out of the way.

•   If you have decided on a portable model with a folding
   frame to hold the bassinet, be sure everything is 
   securely locked back into place once you set it up again.

•   Keep in mind that young children and pets could easily
   tip a bassinet or cradle over. Never leave the baby 
   unattended if younger children or pets are around.
